Privacy statement
Last updated September 21, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy statement explains how Band Manager (also referred to as Stage Plot Manager) at planmystage.com (the “Service”) collects, uses, and shares information. It should be read together with the Terms of Use.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide and information created when you use the Service:
- Account: email address, password (stored by our authentication provider), and Google account name if you sign in with Google
- Profile: display name, email, public or private directory visibility, and locale, date, currency, and number format preferences
- Band and production data: band names, member names, instruments, roles, avatars, invite emails, songs and artwork, events, venues, times, setlists, comments, gig payment notes, and stage plots (layouts, routing, notes, and custom images)
- Device and usage: session cookies needed to keep you signed in, a short-lived redirect cookie used during sign-in, and plot drafts saved in your browser’s local storage while you edit
3. How we use information
We use this information to:
- Create and authenticate your account
- Operate band, event, song, and stage-plot features
- Send transactional email such as invitations and account confirmation
- Remember your sign-in session and format preferences
- Understand aggregate usage when analytics is enabled
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Sharing
Your information is shared only as needed to run the Service:
- Band members: people in a band can see that band’s shared data according to their role (manager, co-manager, or viewer)
- Public directory: if you set your profile to public, band managers can search for your name and email to add you to a band
- Service providers: hosting and authentication (Supabase), Google sign-in if you choose it, transactional email (Resend), and optional Google Analytics
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the Service and its users.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to complete the sign-in redirect. While you edit a stage plot, a draft can be stored in your browser until it is saved to your account. If Google Analytics is configured, it may set its own cookies to measure visits.
6. Retention
We keep account and production data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data; some records may remain in backups for a limited time or where we must keep them for legal reasons. Data you added to a band may remain visible to remaining members after you leave.
7. Your choices
You can update your display name, visibility, and format preferences in the app. You can choose email or Google sign-in. You can keep your profile private so you are not listed in the member directory. Browser controls can clear cookies and local storage.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
9. Changes
We may update this statement from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised statement.
10. Contact
Privacy questions can be sent through the Band Manager site at planmystage.com.
